A good idea

I was hanging out on Twitter yesterday with my fellow literati, and someone I followed liked or retweeted Katie Grimm (@grimmlit):

Given that I myself would love to have dozens of gushy reviews on Lichtenbergianism: procrastination as a creative strategy, I thought this was a great idea.  After all, I review books all the time on my personal blog, and I think everyone should do so.

Then it dawned on me — sure, I review books on my blog, but those are not exactly gushy reviews on Amazon, are they?  I needed to step up.

So that's my big project today, writing reviews of the books I've really enjoyed this year.  Follow my progress on Twitter.
