For this and other delights, head over to the Florida Museum’s oVERT Collection. Say hi to the Chacoan naked-tailed armadillo for me.
Back when I was an important member of society, i.e., working a full-time job, I learned to create a “brag document” as a kind of back-up for my performance review, just in case my superiors hadn’t been paying attention. Since Google has turned to the dark side of AI, its search results are a bit sus, as the yutes say. (Personally, I use DuckDuckGo to search.) If you want to untangle your Google searches, try searchtweaks.com. They have multiple ways to direct your search term though Google’s database. I have not tried all of them, but the ones I did try worked. I even found places I’d been published or written about that I didn’t know existed!
Have fun!
