In case you didn't believe me...

Here was my neighborhood last night.

Thousands and thousands of people… We had 1500 pieces of candy and ran out shortly after 8:00.

We began to worry that we didn’t see the police blocking off the street at 5:00, but eventually I realized that the street was blocked off — it was just that the area being blocked off had expanded so much that we could no longer see the barricades.

Us and our neighbors…

How insane is all this? One neighbor converted his landscaping-in-progress to a Leviathan swimming through the channel.

At least we get a little break before the Christmas decorations start going up, although no one decorates for Christmas like they do for Halloween.
