It’s still hard to travel safely (and likely to get harder), so here are some travel-by-proxy sites for you enjoy.

First, Slow TV Map: A world map with links to slow tv videos, i.e., simply long videos of moving through our world. Zoom in to see more locales.

Escapista is the same kind of thing. (When I went there, it defaulted to a “run” down to the Colorado River from South Rim of Grand Canyon — my favorite place to travel.) These videos don’t seem to have any of the regular controls like pause or rewind.

And finally, a YouTube channel devoted to shorter videos of Just Walking.

Oops, I nearly forgot Da Bears!

This afternoon we will head up to see the interactive Van Gogh exhibit in Atlanta. I’ll give a report next week.
