Oy, such GESTALT.

It was clear that my Piranesi-inspired staircase was just not appropriate for my meditative space. It all had to come apart. But what to do with all that stone?

I could use some of it to make steps up at the far end of the timbers:

Hm, I think, that’s nice-looking. Let’s try a scaled-down approach to the main event…

Better, but still problematic. The step is not stable, and I really don’t like having the entryway of the labyrinth on an incline.
