Fun Friday Resources

Is it just me or is time getting back up to speed? It seems I just did a Fun Friday Resource post…

For those writers who like exercising, here you go: Writing Exercises. More than enough to keep you happy.

Some search engines: Museo, which will give you public domain images from multiple museums worldwide. RecipeSearch, which will give you recipes (duh).

Something pretty to STEAL FROM, Public Domain Review’s Book of Stone post.

And the coolest thing I came across all week? Listen to Wikipedia, a site that turns edits at Wikipedia into ambient music in real time. There’s an explanation of what you’re seeing/hearing at the bottom, but there’s a clearer version back at Open Culture, my original source. A cool feature: you can click on any of the bubbles to go see the edit, and from there to the article. That’s how I became aware of the PERSIAN SAND CAT, YOU GUYS!
