For all your emoji/icon needs, try OpenMoji or IconDuck.

OpenMoji’s search can be slow, but there’s a lot there. Design is definitely on the “hand-drawn” end of the scale.

IconDuck is a mixed grab-bag, but it’s free. Explore the collections on the front page (don’t overlook the view set link for each one), but the search bar is your best bet.

For the granddaddy of emojis/icons, check out the article on Isotype over at Open culture. Also, the Related Content links are worth pursuing.
